Dental Implants Ammon
Lasting Tooth Replacement You Can Trust
Dental implants offer the closest thing to your natural teeth, which is why they remain among the most popular treatment options available. Unlike metal clasps or natural suction used in dentures and dental bridges, these prosthetics fuse with your jawbone, lasting an average of 20 years or more. At Zirker Family Dentistry, we are pleased to provide the entire process in-house, so you don’t need an outside referral for this type of treatment. Contact our office today to discuss whether dental implants can help you achieve a full, complete smile again.

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are titanium posts that mimic tooth roots and last decades longer than other solutions. When topped with a custom-made crown, bridge, or denture, these prosthetics help you see the complete smile you deserve, one that makes it easy to enjoy mealtimes, talk to your loved ones, and maintain a more youthful appearance.
The 4-Step Dental Implant Process

- Initial Dental Implant Consultation – You will meet with our team and discuss your medical history, oral health history, and jawbone density. Based on our findings, we’ll determine if dental implants would be a good fit for you.
- Dental Implant Surgery – On the day of your procedure, we will provide local anesthesia and additional sedation, if needed. We’ll then carefully place each dental implant into the bone, allowing the two to fuse over time and create greater stability for your future teeth. When finished, we’ll close the gum tissues, place protective healing caps, and send you home.
- Dental Implant Osseointegration/Abutment – For the next 3-6 months, your implant posts will bond with the bone through osseointegration, creating a firm base. Once you have healed from this process, you will receive your metal abutments, which help hold your restoration in place once it is attached.
- Delivery of Dental Implant Restoration(s) – Using impressions taken of your smile previously, we will carefully connect the restoration to your dental implants, securing them in place. Your teeth will look beautiful and feel completely lifelike.
Benefits of Dental Implants

When considering the various benefits you can receive with dental implants, you can expect:
- Long-lasting artificial teeth that have a lifespan of 20+ years on average
- To be able to eat all your favorite foods again
- Greater stability because implants actively prevent bone loss
- A more youthful appearance because of the reduced risk of facial sagging
- Enhanced confidence
- Easy-to-maintain teeth that look and act just like natural teeth
Mini Dental Implants

If affordability and faster recovery are what you’re looking for, mini dental implants can deliver the results you want. Used to replace missing teeth or stabilize existing dentures, these smaller titanium implant posts are one-piece and fuse with the underlying jawbone, just as traditional dental implants do. Often, they can be placed in a single appointment and are a more conservative method of treatment.
All-On-X & Teeth-In-A-Day

Jawbone density is essential to dental implant success, so if you lack the necessary support for traditional prosthetics, you can achieve the same effective results with All-On-X or Teeth-In-A-Day. Also referred to as full-arch dental implants, they often require fewer implant posts yet support a full denture once everything is in place.
